March is definitely coming in like a lion at Conformity!

In the coming weeks as we start to emerge from ‘stealth mode’, we’ll be making a series of exciting announcements around our solution, Beta program and new industry partnerships.

As we’ve thought about the SaaS management challenge and what it will take to effectively address the coming issues, we’ve recognized the need to leverage industry-leading thinking in the areas of identity management, systems management and of course SaaS itself. With that in mind, today we’re excited to introduce the charter members of our new Conformity Advisory Board:

Kevin CunninghamKevin is President and founder at SailPoint, an Austin-based provider of identity risk management solutions. Prior to SailPoint, Kevin was a a founder of Waveset, a pioneering company that helped to shape and define what is now the identity management solutions market, and which was acquired by Sun Microsystems. Kevin is a recognized expert in identity and access management, provisioning and federation.

Jay Gardner Jay is a 29 year veteran of the IT industry, with deep executive experience at both BMC and IBM. While at BMC, Jay served as CIO, VP of Global Field Operations, VP of North American Sales and also launched BMC’s On Demand business. Jay brings a unique perspective of an executive that has both launched and built a SaaS-based business, and has also sat ‘on the other side of the table’ and can understand the deployment and management issues from a CIO’s perspective.

Marc Yagjian – Marc was one of the original founders at Tivoli Systems, an Austin-based start up that helped define the systems management space, and which was acquired by IBM in 1996. Marc is currently a Managing Director at Origin Partners, and also has institutional venture capital experience at Hillman Ventures and Austin Ventures. Marc brings deep expertise and experience from the systems and user management space which will be directly applicable to the emerging SaaS management problem set.

We also will be announcing new additions to our Advisory Board in the coming weeks, so please stay tuned….
